100 MASSACRE #1 DATE:December 18, 2005 SITE:Kitanaka WHITE (Yokohama) “100 masacrre“is a performance of slaughtering a hundred people who gathered as extras with a sword. Kiguchi has tried the small-scaled version of the piece several times at a school festival and such, but this time he actually recruited a hundred extras officially for the first time. In the courtyard of a building where the performance took place in, there was a pile of fake-dead-bodies. “What should be aimed for here, is to totally waste human resources that are gathered for me with pretending that this is an interactive art piece” ?from the pre-event announcement by Kiguchi.
